Ladies Writing Desk by Thomas Seymour
A lovely little lady’s desk with all the refinement, skill and quality of the Seymour shop. This desk, a labeled example at Winterthur and a tambour secretary at Bayou Bend share many design and decorative details and appear to date soon after the Seymour’s arrival in Boston in 1793.
